The senior center provides an entertaining and stimulating environment for the local senior citizens. Events like shared meals, estate planning, museum trips and bocce ball tournaments define the senior center experience. These fantastic programs and services are provided today by dedicated professionals who care deeply about their clients. The exciting news for senior centers is that there is a tremendous demographic shift occuring in the population. Beginning in 2009, the USA will begin a decade-long increase in senior citizen population that will see the percentage of citizens in this country over the age of 65 reach 20% (1 in every 5 people). This is a 100% increase from today!

The challenge for senior centers is eliminating the inefficiencies in management processes and being able to handle this huge increase in people with roughly the same budget and staff. In other words, do more with less! Additionally, senior center directors struggle to analyze the success of their events to determine which attract the next wave of seniors.
